Morning cup
DetoxT
Mostly lotus leaf and cassia seed
Cassia seed gives it this faintly toasty thing going on. Light though. A nice one to wake up to.
Functional herbal teas
Everyday blends built on herbs Chinese tea makers have used for centuries. Lotus leaf, hawthorn, jasmine, a bit of ginseng. Four everyday teas, all caffeine-free, plus our famous Fei Yan. Not sure which? Grab a two-bag sample for £1.50 and find out.

After meals
Citrus peel and hawthorn, plus roselle
Goes a proper ruby red in the mug. Fruity, bit sharp, lovely. Our best seller of the four.
Desk drawer
Peppermint with American ginseng
Minty with a warm finish. We know a few people who keep a box of this stashed at work.
Fragrant
Jasmine flowers and linden
Smells gorgeous before you've even had a sip. One customer says a bag lasts her several brews, and we believe her.

A bit of background
In China, a lot of herbal tea isn't really tea at all. Not a tea leaf in sight, half the time. It's flowers, dried fruit, the odd seed or root. Most families have their own mix too. Grandma's after-dinner one, the summer one, the one for when everyone's ratty at bedtime. You'll find hawthorn and dried citrus peel in loads of kitchen cupboards over there.
Our teas are built the same way. Gentle, everyday herbs, the sort you could drink every day without thinking twice. They're not meant to be strong. Think of them as a nicer habit than another coffee.
Two bags of any tea for £1.50. Cheaper than a coffee, and you'll know straight away if it's your sort of thing.

"I am so glad that my Acupuncturist recommended them to me!"
DigestiveT, DetoxT, FocusT and HappyT are, yes. Fei Yan isn't, because it's made with oolong, so we'd keep that one to daytime.
Lots of people reach for something warm with citrus peel or peppermint after a heavy meal, which is why DigestiveT and FocusT get picked a lot. They're nice teas rather than a treatment though. If bloating hangs around, it's worth a chat with your GP.
We'll be straight with you, your liver and kidneys are doing the actual detox. What a light tea like DetoxT does is give you a warm, caffeine-free habit that makes it easier to eat and drink a bit better. That's no bad thing.
Two or three is plenty for most people. They're gentle, but there's no prize for drinking ten.
Check with your midwife or GP first. FocusT has liquorice in it, and a few of the herbs in the others aren't usually recommended in pregnancy.
Twenty bags, so twenty cups. Bit more if you're the type who reuses a bag. We won't judge.
