Aura Nutrition is part of the Phoenix NutriScience group. Our parent company, Phoenix Medical, has supplied the traditional Chinese medicine profession for over two decades, providing authentic Chinese herbs and premium acupuncture needles to practitioners across the UK and mainland Europe.
We work with TCM practitioners, herbalists, acupuncturists and nutritionists, and we welcome partners who wish to stock our products in their clinics.
Why Practitioners Work With Us
Professional users judge a supplier on consistency. A formula that performs one way in spring and differently in autumn is no use in a clinic, and a supply chain that cannot be relied on is worse. Phoenix built its reputation on meeting that standard year after year, and Aura draws on the same sourcing and manufacturing.
Authentic DaoDi sourcing
Our herbs are grown in their traditional regions of origin and harvested at the appropriate point in the season, following the principle of DaoDi. Supplier relationships are long-standing rather than transactional, which is what makes consistency possible.
Standardised 5:1 concentration
Every formula in the range is standardised to a 5:1 extract ratio. A 60-tablet bottle weighs 36g and represents the equivalent of 180g of raw herbs. At a typical dose of three tablets twice daily, that provides 3.6g, equating to 18g of raw herbs per day.
Formula-specific extraction
Each formula is extracted in either water or alcohol, with the medium, temperature and duration set according to the chemical composition of the herbs and the classical references for that preparation, rather than applying one process across the whole range.

The Range
Aura Nutrition covers more than fifty classical formulas in concentrated tablet form, including the foundational preparations most practitioners work with regularly: Si Jun Zi Tang, Si Wu Tang, Ba Zhen Tang, Xiao Yao San and Jia Wei Xiao Yao San, Liu Wei Di Huang Tang and its derivatives, Gui Zhi Tang, Xiao Chai Hu Tang, Yu Ping Feng San and Gui Pi Tang, among others.
The range also includes functional herbal teas and Fei Yan Diet Tea. All supplements are available in single 60-tablet bottles and in 6 x 60 tablet multi-packs for longer courses.

Our product pages, formula index and herb glossary are written to be readable by patients as well as practitioners, so you can point people toward them between appointments. Our content follows UK food supplement regulations and avoids medicinal claims, which means you can share it without needing to correct it afterwards.
