Skin & beauty from within

The thinking behind it
Herbalists have been treating skin from the inside for centuries. Spots, itchy patches, eczema, dry or dull skin, they all fill the old books. The idea was that heat, damp or a shortage of Blood shows up on the surface, so you fix the inside first.
Hair was the same. Grey or thinning hair meant your reserves were running low, according to the classics, which is why Qi Bao Mei Ran Dan is packed with nourishing herbs rather than anything you'd rub on.
What's inside
A couple of herbs with stories.

"Mr He's black hair"
Legend has it an old man called He ate the root and his grey hair went black again. We make no such promises.

Chuan Xin Lian
Famously bitter. Herbalists call it cooling, which is exactly why it ended up in a skin formula.

Just so we're clear, this is about how these herbs have traditionally been used. Our tablets are food supplements, mind. Not medicine.
Looking after your skin

Herbalists have treated skin from the inside for centuries, and plenty of our customers take these for months at a time. But they're food supplements, not a treatment for eczema, acne or anything else. If your skin's bad, see your GP or a dermatologist.
Spots and acne are one of the oldest skin worries in the herbal books, and Shi Du Qing Pian was put together with exactly that sort of skin in mind. Ours are food supplements, not an acne treatment. Painful, leaving marks or just getting you down? Go and see your GP, they've got more options than ever.
Start with the boring stuff, sorry. Water, sleep, veg and sunscreen. Herbalists would add that your skin mirrors your gut, so a lot of the old advice on glowing skin is really about eating well. Our two formulas go on top of that, not instead of it.
Usually creams are fine, but if you're on any tablets, including for acne, check with your GP or pharmacist first.
It was traditionally made for greying and thinning hair as people get older. It's a food supplement. If it's falling out suddenly, though, get your GP to take a look.
Ten days at six tablets a day. Skin and hair change slowly, so most people give it a couple of months.

Just so we're clear: food supplements aren't a replacement for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, and they aren't meant to diagnose, treat or cure anything.
